There’s nothing quite like a summer afternoon filled with live music in the beautiful surroundings of Congleton Park. The Friends of Congleton Park are delighted to welcome back the popular Music in the Park programme at the historic Congleton Park Bandstand, bringing a variety of talented performers to entertain visitors throughout the summer months.
Pack a picnic, bring a chair or blanket, and enjoy relaxing afternoons of music with family and friends in the heart of the park. All performances take place from 2.30pm – 4.30pm at Congleton Park Bandstand.

The Extractions
Saturday 14th June | 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Kicking off the summer series are The Extractions, bringing an energetic mix of live music guaranteed to get toes tapping and audiences smiling. A perfect way to start the season of outdoor entertainment.
Lions Youth Brass Band
Saturday 5th July | 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Enjoy the uplifting sounds of the talented Lions Youth Brass Band, showcasing young musicians performing a lively programme of brass band favourites and well-loved classics.
Rode Hall Silver Band
Sunday 26th July | 2.30pm – 4.30pm
A much-loved local favourite, Rode Hall Silver Band will fill the park with the traditional rich sound of brass music, offering an afternoon of timeless tunes and community spirit.
Saxophone Quartet
Saturday 2nd August | 2.30pm – 4.30pm
The season concludes with the smooth and stylish sounds of the Saxophone Quartet, performing a varied repertoire ideal for a relaxing summer afternoon in the park.
